I wrote this song many years ago, it started as one of those poems I was writing so much of on my return to Maui after college and a time in San Francisco. I was embarking on some therapy and inner child work and I guess you could say little Shari wrote this.
lyrics
I have an important question for you
I've been wondering this for some time
I guess I should ask my question
This important question of mine
Of all of the beautiful wonderful things you already know about me
What would you say is your is your most favorite thing
Your most favorite thing about me?
The Wonders of Me
The Wonders of Me
Oh, how the world loves
The Wonders of Me
You'll see me out in my back yard playing with
My little dog Ralph
You'll see me picking flowers for myself
Over at the neighbors
And when I'm not playing my little piano
Or outside petting the kitties
You'll see me laughing with friends
The wonders of me never end
The Wonders of Me
The Wonders of Me
Oh, how the world loves
The Wonders of Me
You you you you you you
You you you you you
You you you you you
You you you you
And now that I've refreshed your memory
Reminded you of my goodness inside
I hope you will search deep in your heart
And my request you will oblige
Of all of the beautiful wonderful things you already know about me
What would you say is your is your most favorite thing
Your very most favorite thing about me?
The Wonders of Me
The Wonders of Me
Oh, how the world loves
The Wonders of Me
one more time, everybody
The Wonders of Me
The Wonders of Me
Oh, how the world loves
The Wonders of Me
